Oh I see. Well I don’t know, at minimal volume it’s subtle I guess. Pioneer is nice, i’ma get gear from them when I get my car.

@Adrenalinex03 Bose is overpriced shit. I have a Bose sound system in my Benz and it sucks. Granted the 2 5 1/4 woofers in the rear deck are nice, the sound quality isnt good at all at high volumes. My bottom of the line Pioneer speakers sounded way better and got way louder.

@rettomac Capacitors are nearly useless in car audio. If anything they put more strain on the electrical. Not a noticeable amount. But all a capacitor does is of course “store a charge”. In theory, your going to draw the same amount of power if not more from your electrical system with any size capacitor. Capacitors are NOT a replacement for upgrading the electrical system.

there capasitors.. so the system dosent drain the battery

Bose is good. Alpine does not beat Bose. I agree. As far as JL Audio, Bose and JL are on the same level.

I have Type R 6’9 3 ways in my car. My friend has a Caddy with Bose, and his may not be as loud, but the sound is clean and crisp.
April 29th, 2010 at 8:57 am
I own Type R components and 3-ways. They destroy my buddy’s bose system in his Mazda 6

you suck dick worse than your mom you stupid bitch.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say Bose is the clear winner compared to the Type R Alpine components. Type Rs can handle far more power than Bose speakers. Also they are all just speaker drivers. What makes them sound good is the TUNING of the signal, how strong the signal is, the signal to noise ratio of the amplifier, and whether or not the individual drivers are installed in some kind of enclosure reinforced by a type of sound dampener. Personal opinion, Bose is like JL, WAY overpriced.
