Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) August 10, 2007
When the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety released a new study recently that rated how 2007 vehicle models held up in various crash scenarios, the Audi A4 and A6 received high marks.
Since that study was released, sales of used A4 and A6 Audi models have increased at Colorado Auto Finders, said Ali Awada, who founded the business in 2001.
In June, the used car dealer sold at least 15 Audis, most of which were the A6, a large luxury sedan, he said. On a lot that maintains about 120 vehicles, that is significant.
“I’m constantly purchasing Audis for the dealership to sell because they are in high demand,” Awada said.
The Institute gave the Audi A6 a “good” overall rating, which is its highest rating, according to the institutes’s Web site. The institute found that the A6′s performance was good in front, side and rear tests and standard electronic stability control.
For the third straight year, the A6 received a good rating in frontal offset tests, which rate driver-side occupant compartment intrusion and driver injury; and side-impact tests, which measure structure damage and driver and passenger injury.
In the mid-sized car category, the A4 fared equally well. It also received the “good” rating. It has been rated “good” since 2002 in frontal offset and side impact tests.
Those tests results mean a lot to customers at Colorado Auto Finders, Awada said.
“We get a lot of family-minded customers and for them, safety is the most important consideration when purchasing a vehicle,” he said. “They really do their homework and follow the news regarding automobile safety issues.”
Because of that, Colorado Auto Finders works continuously to respond to customers’ demand for safe, quality used vehicles.
If you are looking for a luxury vehicle that will be safe for you and your family without paying new vehicle prices, visit Colorado Auto Finders at 2200 S. Parker Rd. in Denver. You can reach them by phone locally at (303) 636-9000, or toll free at (877) 636-9002. Or visit them online at www.CoAutoFinders.com.

What car would I say is the best used car on the road? It would have to be the Audi A6. Why, I hear you ask? Well, being an Audi owner, I can vouch for the performance and luxury built into these beautiful cars. I have owned a few cars in the past from various manufacturers and I can honestly say that out of all of them, I have had the least trouble mixed with the best performance from the Audi A6.
Looking at Audis historically, the one that sticks out the most – in my mind anyway – is the Audi Quattro. Those powerful rally cars used to own the track, screaming round corners and kicking up gravel at spectators as they passed! The developments Audi have made over the years are evident in both their rally and road cars – they have made improvements without losing the power and precision behind the wheel. Their road cars are of course a bit more luxurious than the rally Quattro – no sign of a roll-cage in my little beauty! Joking aside, the A6 is sleek, stylish and a real pleasure to drive at any speed. The space inside is awesome too – the whole family fits comfortably and no one ever complains!
One of the best choices I made was to buy an Audi A6 over a BMW or Merc. These three makes of car are equally renowned for their style, sophistication, luxury and performance – but the Audi A6 comes without the hefty price tag! OK, they’re not exactly cheap either, but they definitely don’t hurt your wallet as much as the others. Personally I opted for a used Audi, which knocks about another £10,000 of the price tag.
One of the greatest features of an Audi is that the well-built structure will stand the test of time. I have had my Audi A6 for three years now and I have had zero problems with it. The trick is to buy a used car where any potential problems have been ‘ironed out’ by the previous owner, rather than created by them. So choose your used Audi wisely – not every owner is as careful as me! With an Audi A6, you’re unlikely to encounter ‘potential problems’ anyway because they’re so reliable. They come with a reputation – and not the kind that’s associated with Citroen Saxos or Vauxhall Novas! Audi A6 drivers are respected for their choice of car, and quite rightly so because it really is the best used car on the road.

| When You Buy A Used Audi A6 |
29 Dec |
Buying a used car can have potential pitfalls – but it needn’t be a painful experience if you follow a simple set of rules and checks. We provide you a used car buying guide, which aims to provide all the advice and information to make the right choices when buying a used Audi A6 car.
Check the information below to arm yourself with all the information you need to make the successful purchase of your dream car.
What type of car is Audi A6?
The Audi A6 is a good-looking, accomplished large executive car. The A6 provides a balance between ride comfort and precise, responsive handling andmpressive amounts of power are delivered with excellent fuel efficiency. Available as a saloon or estate (‘Avant’) version, the current A6 is a safe car, with. a structure that is 34 per cent stiffer than the previous model to create the best possible crash protection, resulting in a full five stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests for occupant safety.
Interior Vs Exterior
This new generation A6 has had a bit of a nip and tuck, and combined with our test car’s ‘S line’ spec, it looks superbly menacing. Big 19-inch wheels, a subtle body-kit and daytime running LED lights – as found on the R8 supercar.
The layout is pleasing and the controls are within easy reach of the driver. Once you get your bearings, navigating through the controls becomes second nature, and although the cabin is bathed in plastic it looks techno-smart – just shy of becoming fussy. Our car’s S line sports seats gave the interior a funky sporting ambience too.
Performance
Lugging around 1.7-tonnes of corporate heft requires some serious firepower – and our test car’s 3-litre supercharged V6 engine was more than up to the task.
This engine replaces two outgoing Audi engines: the 3.2-litre V6 and 4.2-litre V8 petrol units.
Don’t forget, this car’s chassis can also handle 572bhp in RS6 trim…
Running Cost
Buy an Audi A6 in S line spec and you’ll pay £37,130. Audi claims a combined mpg of 30mpg and we managed to match this figure over town and motorway driving.
Insurance and Tax
An insurance rating of 17E will mean premiums will remain high, and its CO2 figure of 219g/km makes it expensive to tax too.
Audi A6 Shape Options
Audi A6 Avant – The A6 Avant is a smart, spacious, top-quality estate with a strong sporting attitude. The cabin is beautifully built and well appointed and the boot is a good size. But he Audi A6 is not as solid a buying and owning prospect.
Audi A6 Saloon – The A6 is a smart, spacious, top-quality saloon with a strong sporting attitude. The cabin is beautifully built and well appointed while refinement is first rate and the engines are encouragingly frugal.
Audi A6 Allroad 4×4 – Classy 4×4 version of the A6 Avant estate offers plenty of space for people and luggage

| Scooter Parts – Be Careful When Purchasing Them Used |
27 Feb |
Like most motorized vehicles, there will be instances when replacement parts are going to be needed. Scooter parts break down and malfunction just like anything else and care should be taken as to where you buy them. There are many places to obtain parts, but when it comes to safety, caution should be used as to where you purchase these parts. If you are not careful you could buy parts that should have been scrapped rather than resold and there are a lot of people that will sell you defective ones but tell you they’re new. It helps to know what you’re looking for especially when dealing with used dealers. It’s not that all used parts dealers on sneaky and underhanded, but caution should be used when dealing with them and sometimes the best way to do that is by researching or word of mouth in order to find a dealer that is reputable.
Buying new scooter parts is always a safe way to go as they have been shipped straight from the manufacturers. You know that the odds of getting a defective or damaged part are slim as opposed to buying them used and on the rare occasion that one is found to be damaged or defective, there is usually a warranty to have that part either fixed or replaced depending on the problem. There will also be times where you won’t be able to find a particular part at a used parts dealer and the only way to purchase that part would be to order it brand new and this situation occurs more times than one would think. Another consideration is of course, the cost of parts. When you’re are seeking to buy new replacement parts, you will no doubt find better prices and rebate deals to help save you money. The downside to buying new replacements is that on occasion a dealer will be out of stock on an item and will have to order it special. The wait for it to come in is indeterminate and in some cases, you could wait weeks for confirmation that it arrived.
As stated earlier, caution should be taken when dealing with used parts dealers and a good amount of research or looking around for a reputable dealer can save you a lot of time and aggravation. The benefit of buying used replacement parts is that in most cases, the parts are cheaper. One of the downsides however, is that unlike new scooter parts, one that is bought used is not likely to come with any warranty. So if you get it home and it turns out to be defective, you may not be able to get your money back but instead be able to trade it in for another part.
| How to Choose a Used Motorcycle |
11 Feb |
Are you interested to get a motorcycle but feel discouraged by the high price? In this case why not consider a used one? There are indeed some great models that exist and that should be really helpful for you to have a look. Many people simply ignore this and keep on waiting for the time where they will have enough money to purchase a new one. In order to help you learn more on used motorcycles I have written this short article and hope that it will be useful to you.
The first place that you should look for used motorcycles is from the local newspapers. Everyday there are numerous people that list their motorcycles for sale and this can be a great opportunity for you to try your luck. It is however important that you check the motorcycle well before purchase and insist to have a test drive. In this way you will be in a better position to find out whether the motorcycle is really in a good condition. If you are unsure do not hesitate to take a friend or a relative that is more knowledgeable in mechanics to assist you.
There is also some internet sites that offer listing and that should be worth having a look. Similar to newspaper these sites will display a lot of used motorcycles in order to allow you to make your choice. The advantage here is that you can search for a particular model or brand that you prefer through the use of filters. In my opinion it is the best way to browse through used motorcycles and also make your choice. Make sure however that you choose a regional website if you do not wish to go to the other part of the country to check your motorcycle.
As said above it is important that you check your motorcycle well before actually purchasing it. There are many scams nowadays and it will be stupid for you to fall in such a trap. You should look for visible damages to the fuel tanks, mirrors and cables for instance. It might also be a good idea for you to bring the bike to a mechanic in order to have an unbiased opinion. Although this may cost some money you will have a better view of the bike and can thus prevent you from having some unpleasant surprise in the future.

| How Audi Used Revolutionary Styling To Produce A Design Classic |
18 Oct |
The Audi TT may seem as out of the reach of normal road goers. Unlike its German brothers however it creates an affordable opportunity to those who want all the benefits of a German made sports car without the extortionate price. If considering an Audi TT I would advise to look at the used car market as often a bargain can be had.
The Audi TT first made an appearance as a concept car at the German Motor Show in 1995 where it won many awards. The styling is regarded by experts as the avant garde of a new design revolution. Its bold curved design was innovative in nature and turned heads wherever it went. For those looking at a used model there has been a new generation released recently; as this has updated the styling somewhat used car prices are sure to fall.
The car reinvented Audi as a company; before the TT many had seen Audi as a company who purely produced rather dull saloon cars. After this design classic was released the popularity of Audi grew and its other ‘S’ models became increasingly fashionable. A used Audi does not depreciate greatly and for those who want a slice of luxury and style they make an enticing option.
The low powered Audi TT used a front wheel drive system although later and more powerful models used Audi’s famous ‘Quattro’ four wheeled drive system. This gives unbelievable road holding qualities and great cornering ability. However the TT was subject to an investigation after it was found to be somewhat unstable when cornering at high speeds. As a result a recall occurred where spoilers were used and suspension settings were altered.
If in the market for a used Audi TT there are numerous engine options available dependent upon how much power you require and how fast you actually want to go. One major consideration however should be go for the convertible model, ideal for touring the countryside with the wind in your hair it makes a brilliant soft top sports car.
The high quality of the interior is testament to German manufacturing; the materials used in the cars construction ooze quality and refinement and make the cabin a sumptuous space to be in. Less impressive however are the rear seats that can be considered an afterthought at best.
While there is little chance of an adult fitting in the back comfortably, there is adequate room for smaller children. The Audi TT was never designed to be a family car though so the lack of rear space is not a great concern.
Although the handling and gearbox have been criticised by some commentators it should be realised that both are deliberate. Some have said the steering is somewhat pedestrian but Audi made the car to have light steering to make city driving easier; despite the protestations of die hard motor enthusiasts. The six speed gearbox has been criticised for losing power at the wrong times but again this is deliberate and an integral part of the six speed nature. Getting used to the gearbox is all part of the TT experience.
Whatever critics have said about the TT it remains one of the most popular sports cars on the road today. Audi can consider it an unbridled success that has brought the company out of a slump at put it at the forefront of revolutionary design. There is little doubt that if Audi had not produced the TT the new gorgeously styled R8 would never have come into existence.
No matter what your opinion on the TT it is hard to argue against the fact that it a design classic and one of the seminal cars of the last thirty years. How Audi used revolutionary styling to produce a design classic
A look at the good and bad points of the TT and why it can be considered a revolution in car design.
