Doctor Discounts Best Sales Month Ever

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) October 4, 2008

Carlsen Audi in Palo Alto posted an increase in internet sales for the month of September. While other Audi dealers struggled to find sales, Doctor Discount was busy writing savings prescriptions. Taking advantage of the high consumer demand for the all new 2009 Audi A4 with its all new PZEV engine and dynamic European styling combined with Audi’s world leading automotive engineering, Doctor Discount was able to write savings prescriptions for customers as far away as Oregon.

Carlsen Audi New Car Manager, David Stevens credits Audi of America’s aggressive end of year sales incentives and superior product as the foundation for last month’ sales success story. David is hoping to take advantage of the high consumer demand for Audi’s newest product offers to help make October a record month for sales.

When asked if he was concerned about stories in the media taking about consumers having difficulty securing automotive financing, David responded, “I have not seen that with our banks. Audi Financial Services has been great. They are still offering .9% APR financing on 2008 models. Audi Financial Services just announced a great lease on the 2009 Audi A3. We still have interest rates as low as 2.9% APR on select certified pre-owned Audi’s.”

Dave and his sales staff are planning to set sales records for the month of October. Dave admits that the economic situation makes it easier to sell cars. “People are expecting to get great value for their money. Audi offers savvy consumers excellent value when the purchase their Audi, great fuel performance and inexpensive ownership costs. It’s a great time to be selling cars.”

Sales on Audis at Denver, Colorado-Based Used Car Dealer Increase Due To High Safety Ratings 9

Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) August 10, 2007

When the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety released a new study recently that rated how 2007 vehicle models held up in various crash scenarios, the Audi A4 and A6 received high marks.

Since that study was released, sales of used A4 and A6 Audi models have increased at Colorado Auto Finders, said Ali Awada, who founded the business in 2001.

In June, the used car dealer sold at least 15 Audis, most of which were the A6, a large luxury sedan, he said. On a lot that maintains about 120 vehicles, that is significant.

“I’m constantly purchasing Audis for the dealership to sell because they are in high demand,” Awada said.

The Institute gave the Audi A6 a “good” overall rating, which is its highest rating, according to the institutes’s Web site. The institute found that the A6′s performance was good in front, side and rear tests and standard electronic stability control.

For the third straight year, the A6 received a good rating in frontal offset tests, which rate driver-side occupant compartment intrusion and driver injury; and side-impact tests, which measure structure damage and driver and passenger injury.

In the mid-sized car category, the A4 fared equally well. It also received the “good” rating. It has been rated “good” since 2002 in frontal offset and side impact tests.

Those tests results mean a lot to customers at Colorado Auto Finders, Awada said.

“We get a lot of family-minded customers and for them, safety is the most important consideration when purchasing a vehicle,” he said. “They really do their homework and follow the news regarding automobile safety issues.”

Because of that, Colorado Auto Finders works continuously to respond to customers’ demand for safe, quality used vehicles.

If you are looking for a luxury vehicle that will be safe for you and your family without paying new vehicle prices, visit Colorado Auto Finders at 2200 S. Parker Rd. in Denver. You can reach them by phone locally at (303) 636-9000, or toll free at (877) 636-9002. Or visit them online at www.CoAutoFinders.com.

Is Audi going to bring its Tiguan-for-the-country-club Q3 over to the United States? Originally the automaker said nein! to the idea of a subcompact crossover on American soil, but now Audi is reportedly reconsidering offering the Q3 Stateside.

BMW is getting ready to launch the X1 here in the U.S., and Audi wants a cut of the North American subcompact crossover action. Since the American car-buying public is fairly wagon-averse, this move makes sense for Audi and could be a strong move to help it reach the aggressive sales goals it has set for itself.

The Q5 has already been a sales winner for the brand here in the States. In 2010, sales of the compact crossover rose 70 percent, and having a smaller Q3 in Audi showrooms would allow customers to still get in on the quad-rung crossover action for a bit less cash.

Audi Sales up 132% in May 2008 18

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) June 3, 2008

Carlsen Audi in Palo Alto California posted a record increase in Audi Sales last month. With an increase in Audi sales of 132%, the sales staff felt like in was the Dotcom boom all over again. Potential Audi customers waited patiently to test drive the exciting new Audi A5 or get the opportunity to purchase the Audi A3. Audi of America’s Summer of Audi sales event drew in large numbers of excited car buyers looking to take advantage of the limited time offer.

Sales Manager David Stevens credits his aggressive internet pricing as the special ingredient to the record sales. “People like to know that they got the most competitive price when they purchase a new Audi. The internet allows consumers to compare dealer prices without having to go through the high pressure sales tactics of our competitors. It’s much easier to sell an Audi to a well informed consumer these days. The better informed the consumer is the easier it is for my Audi Brand Specialist to do their job.”

Carlsen Audi is hoping to continue the record setting sales pace in June. With more new Audi product arriving daily, Carlsen Audi offers a wide selection.

Report: Audi may have passed Mercedes in Q1 global sales, but BMW is still #1 13

Audi outsold Mercedes Benz globally in the first quarter of 2010; a big deal considering it was the first time the four-ringed automaker had ever accomplished such a feat. But while Audi was finally able to pass its crosstown rival in sales, the German automaker is still longing for the title of the top luxury brand in the land.

Automotive News reports that BMW announced final Q1 sales of 265,809 vehicles, besting Audi by an anorexic 1,709 units for the three month period. BMW saw a global sales increase of 14 percent compared to the same period of 2009, buoyed by strong sales of its new X1 crossover and a 56 percent increase in 7 Series sales. BMW sales boss Ian Robertson said in a statement that the company intends to improve sales across the globe, adding, “We are back on our growth track in nearly all the automobile markets.” And BMW isn’t just hoping the market improves – the automaker is counting on an increase in sales courtesy of its new 5 Series lineup, which was launched overseas last month and arrives in the U.S. in June. BMW also has a refreshed 3 Series coupe and convertible on the way as well. With single digit growth, BMW intends to sell 1.3 million vehicles in 2010.

But while BMW pulled out the slimmest of victories in Q1, we’re thinking Audi’s performance during the first three months effectively puts its German competitors on notice. With a very good product lineup and a considerable foothold in China, Audi may well achieve its goal of becoming the largest luxury car maker on earth by 2015 a lot earlier than most people expected.

Report: Audi U.S. sales suffering due to supply shortage 13

Audi Q5 – Click above for high-res image gallery

There are good problems and there are bad problems. Audi dealers across the U.S. are having trouble selling vehicles, but not because of uncompetitive product or industry-wide sales woes. Automotive News reports the reason for Audi’s sales troubles have everything to do with a supply shortage that stems from strong first quarter sales. Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen reportedly told AN that U.S. dealers are “short of everything,” with Q5 and Q7 supplies running especially low.

Last year, Audi cut U.S. deliveries by 6,000 units due to weak sales here in the States, but the German luxury automaker saw brisk sales in December followed by a first quarter that bested the first three months of 2009 by 35 percent. Audi now has a 29 day supply of product for U.S. dealers; about half the typical 60 day reserve and a third of the 88 day supply of March, 2009. De Nysschen says Audi has allotted an additional 3,000 vehicles to the U.S. for 2010, which should help dealers a bit. That said, we’re thinking Audi isn’t looking to beef up inventories too much considering the fact that the Four-Ringed automaker managed to keep incentives in check at a time when other automakers are dumping truckloads of cash on the hood to boost their sales.
