I just bought a 1999 audi a4 with 133,000 miles. It recently had most of the belts changed including timing belt. I think the brakes were recently done. Nothing seems to be the matter with it except the brake light flashes even though the e brake is down. The reason I bought the car was I got an incredible deal on it ($1875). I am concerned about maintenance. How expensive can it be?

I am looking to purchase one but I have heard there are a lot of hidden cost and just regular maintenance can be pretty high. Also, I have heard Audi’s do not have a resell value and suffer from mechanical problems.

Any ideas? Any information would be appreciated.

I am considering buying a used 2003 Audi A4 3.0 and heard that I may be able to get free oil changes and service through my local Audi dealer. Does Audi have such a plan and if so, how long is it good for?
