This is the video I took after I sucked up some seafoam through the intake manifold. I let it soak for about 10 minutes and then fired her up. Here are the results. This is normal BTW. Nice smoke effects.

Looks like its just the seafoam burning , not any carbon coming out.

Thats why you should always cut your cat off and sell it to the junkyard immediatly when you buy a new vehicle =-)

actually it is seafoam, did it to my altima and just as much came out
March 1st, 2010 at 7:07 am
lmfao!! thats not from sea foam… Thats a smoke grenade.
March 1st, 2010 at 7:59 am
Higher compression, worse airflow and valve sealing, and more detonation too…
March 1st, 2010 at 8:29 am
YES M8 but id rather have the carbon in my exhaust and cloggin the sensors than in my pistonhs cloggin the engine. engine rebuilds are alot more than a exhaust
March 1st, 2010 at 9:22 am
wow man, not even close. Using seafoam breaks up carbon in your engine and passes it through the exhaust which means you’re running the risk of fouling o2 sensors and clogging your cat with the carbon particulate. I’m not saying sea foam is a bad idea but you always have to remember the risks.

Just did this on my car not much smoke but I skimped too much on the intake and put most in the gas tank. I’d like to try it again but around here it’s no less than $10 a can! ripoff
March 1st, 2010 at 10:32 am
That’s the most smoke I’ve ever seen out of a seafoam video.
March 1st, 2010 at 11:11 am
every what should you seafoam a car ?
March 1st, 2010 at 11:35 am
i did this to a high mile engine and it brought like 20hp back to the engine also it was smoking for like half hour long and now just touching the peddle it flys i think it unclogged the cat converter so yea
March 1st, 2010 at 11:57 am
carbon build up will give you higher compression making you faster.

I bet they wish they had Seafoam back in WW2 And D Day.. would have saved alot of lives

Seafoam more cleans the combustion chamber exhaust and cats more than the injectors. You suck it threw you brake boaster vac hose into the intake. You do it slowly so you dont hydro lock your engine. After its in you turn the engine off let it set for 15 mins,in this time it turns all the carbon build up to liquid. When you crack the car it burns it all out with a massive cloud of white smoke. This clears up in about 10 mins or running or driving,it is suppose to bring your engine back to new
