I went to the audi dealer and they wanted over $1,000 to hard wire the ipod. They claim it is so expensive because the MMI interface is fiber optic.
Any info would help, Thanks!

I’m not 100% sure if this is what you’re asking but if you just want to connect the iPod to your car to listen to just buy an iPod ready stereo system

lol $250 you got a nicer looking deck that can do a whole lot more tahn your stock stero and can take an ipod plug
aftermarket decks look nice in audis as i have 1 in my A4
