If the air intake is for the 1.8T engine you should be fine. One model year won’t make a difference. That engine has been around a long time.

The difference between a regular A4 and a quattro is the quattro has AWD.

There is no difference regarding the air intake system on an A4 with quattro,or just standard front wheel drive. The engine is what matters. the 1.8L turbo engine has a different air intake kit than the V6 engine does.

Yep, both answerers are correct…but if you are putting an intake into your A4 1.8t, make sure it is a cold air intake, not a ram air, because your car will overheat and lose power

    the quattro has AWD
