I know how to make engines fast.
But what would all have to be done to get an audi 200, 20 valve, turbo engine to reach around 450hp? Would it need every thing changed and a big turbo?

You’re gona need a bigger turbo, exhaust, fuel systems, head work, and someway to modify the ECU (cars computer). The bottom end could stand some moding to but odds are it would be expensive and everything custom. Give the link below a look, when I had an old 10v 5000 they made it in the 250 hp range for about $800 bucks! (vs 170 stock!)

450hp is iffy on the bottom end of the motor but basically a decent exhaust manifold, turbo, fuel injectors, bigger intercooler, and a real time tune and your in business. A couple favorites of the more reputable enthusiast driven companys capable of sourcing parts and info…
