| How to install an amp in a 1996 Audi Cabriolet? |

My brother wants me to install an amp in his 1996 Audi Cabriolet, but I have a few questions.
Is the battery located under the hood or somewhere else? I know most BMWs have them in the trunk.
Where is the best place to run a 4 gauge power wire and RCAs to the front of the car?

I’m not sure where the battery is, but with some simple looking around it should be pretty easy to spot.
When running RCA and power wire i have always read that running the power wire on one side of the car and the RCA cables on the other side is the best way to keep from having signal problems, but i have had the RCA and power wire (4 gauge) running right next to each other for 2 years now and i have never heard nor had any problems at all. Basically i think whichever is easier for you to do would be the route to go when running your cables.
Run the cables under the paneling and anywhere where it is completely out of the way and won’t get pulled on or tugged or accidentally messed with.
Hope this helps.
