I just bought a 2001 Audi A4. The battery had been changed, so the stereo needs to have a code to be reset. The dealership I bought it from said to go to the main Audi dealership and get it reset… any idea how much this might run me?

It should not cost u anything, all u need to do is go to any Audi Dealer with the rego papers for poor of ownership. That is all i had to do.

That’s sick. There should be a radio code sticker either in your owner’s manual or in the spare tire area. Punch the code into the stereo, and you’re set.

Your hand book should tell you how to punch in the code.
Audi should be able to give you the code if you can show proof of ownership.
