Acura bose is COMPLETELY different than Audi bose. Though they are both junk, the acura doesnt need a complete rewire and replacement. The nig reason is that a am almost 100% positive that EVERYTHING would need to be replaced, all speakers included. The fact of the matter is that if from the factory they are 1 ohm speakers, then you cant use them and gotta replace it, and if youre asking you probably dont know how to do it and youre gonna screw up your 40,000 dollar luxury car in some way.

You are looking at the most ocmplicated switch in car audio... period. Your bose headunit is not the same as other head units. your headunit sends a small power signal to an amp hidden somewhere in your car(normally behind the backseat) and the amp is what powers your speakers. As a normal head unit powers the speakers directly. To do this you would either have to find a way to tap into the amp, or rewire the system not using the amp at all. my advice leave it as it is, its not worth it, those speakers were designed to run off of the system they're hooked up to. IF the problem is your stereo only has a tape deck, than go to your dealer and see if they have a "Bose CD Head Unit" They can install into that, chances are they do. Good Luck.
