Buy yourself a Clymer or Haynes manual for the A4. It’ll be more comprehensive than a website etc.

First you need to locate your air filter box, it is hooked to the throttle body normally towards the front of your car.As far as tools, it depends on how audi has it set up some use clips you just flip up others use a philip screw driver.Honda uses either a philips or a 8mm socket. its easy as taking the old one out and putting the new one in, nothing more.
