I have an audi a4 2003 and it does not seem to shift when i use the tiptronic portion of the gear selector.

You dont actually have more than one gear, it just goes to preset ratios when you use tiptronic.

I have a 2006 A3 with the stupid CVT transmission and the tiptronic doesn’t work as well as my other Audi’s tiptronic did (2002 A4 w/o CVT). My A4 would accelerate and decelerate like a manual…but my A3 doesn’t. Silly to even put the tiptronic on the CVT tranny because it doesn’t work like it should. I’m definitely going with a manual on the next Audi.
