    It can be done but i do not think Audi offers a factory version so you will have to carry around an extra key fob along with the switchblade key which will make for a bulky key ring. If Audi offered a remote start option in the switchblade key that would be Awesome but i will not go back to having a separate key fob.

    Yes you can. On any manual transmission it isn’t reccommended but can be done by a professional installer. They would tie into your parking brake wire to make sure it is up in order to remote start the vehicle. Also the installer will make you sign a waiver releasing him from any damages done if the car was left in gear. The shop I worked at installed one on a manual car and the owner left it in gear and it rolled down the driveway and hit the garage. Just be careful!
