sehr nett!

I must be stupid then ; ) My last two cars have had welded diffs, a Sierra and Volvo 360. Both these cars where/are used everyday on the road and occasional track use. Tyre wear is worse but if your drifting tyre wear is going to happen.
Viscous LSD don’t always lock and from my experience generally a bit crap.
Plated LSD are great but they are often expensive to buy, require servicing and a decent 2way will clunk during slow turns.
Weld diff is cheap and dont need special servicing.

Very nice video whats the music?
February 15th, 2010 at 1:12 am
Well yes. I wouldnt do that on daily driver. Also wears out all the brushings in the rear axle. Hehee.
February 15th, 2010 at 1:23 am
oh i totally agree with you, for drifting purposes, welded or locked diff is the way to go. but for every day driving, its a nuisance and a pain. making u-turns are a pain as well.
February 15th, 2010 at 1:42 am
Hahahahaha. I have had LSD-s, open diffs, locked diffs. And trust me, 90% of the drifters use welded diffs. Its better – more control and more stability. Its also my personal favorite. And for your information it only makes the sound that you described under like 10-15 kmh. After that you can turn however, it wont make any sound or you cant even really feel it. Today the car is taken apart (also engine) and rollcage ect is being installed for next season. Really think i cant afford a LSD ?

For those who weld their diff are stupid. The whole purpose of a diff is to differentiate the speed of each wheel whilst the vehicle is turning. By welding it, each wheel will spin at the same rate of speed, which condones annoying sounds and shuddering while turning. Save up and buy an LSD.
February 15th, 2010 at 2:34 am
yeah and how do i weld the diff ? please .
February 15th, 2010 at 2:51 am
Hmm. Get a stiff and low suspension, weld your rear differential, add rear sway bar or put stiffer one, replace bushes and mounts with stiffer ones. As for 3.5 V6 go for lighter flywheel for extra fast rpm-age, id also polish the intake, remove restrictions. Good luck.
February 15th, 2010 at 3:05 am
wow this is great drifting , how can i let my car drift like this please?, it is a 3,5 v6
it slides but does not drift , what are the instructions for how to make the differecial spins all wheels the same time . thank you . 5 star
February 15th, 2010 at 3:51 am
