by the sound of the car 3.0 TDI quattro engine
btw my dad has an A6 3.0 TDI QUATTRO too
and the car has a factory amplifier on the back, great sound quality, will post a vid when i can!
People that think Bose is good, as with you, have never heard any good brands. Paradigm, Wharfedale, PSB, Bowers and Wilkins, Klipsch; the list goes on and on, of brands that kill Bose in sound quality and even system features. Bose’s Lifestyle systems don’t even have the most basic features; they lack 7.1 surround sound, they have VERY limited HDMI connection (you have to pay extra for it on some of their systems), and no Blu-Ray players.
Watch my videos. All of those systems absolutely crush the shit out of Bose in every way imaginable, and they cost the same as their corresponding Bose system.
The reason Bose sells so well is because it’s marketed to perfection. No other audio brand advertises like Bose does, and they advertise themselves as being “the best”. When people to listen to it, they expect it to be good. The really high prices also help, too, for Bose has established itself as a status symbol.
And I don´t see what this is all about, bose is very good and if it was so bad it wouldn’t sell. Maybe its not the best but its the best iv’e heard. So until I hear something else that is better i will keep on believing that it´s good best or good.
If you want good car audio, you have to go aftermarket. A $1000 system (including installation), with 2 pairs of Hertz ECX165 speakers and a 10 in. JL Audio W0v2 subwoofer in a sealed box powered by a Concept monoblock amplifier would beat any stock car audio system (the B&O system for the Audi A/S8 might beat it, and possibly Spyker’s Kharma system would, too). And, an $1800 aftermarket system, which is how much the high-end Bose car systems cost, would absolutely annihilate a Bose car system.
h/k b&o b&w all sound very good and my personal favourite is b&w because of their warm sound. But i just like bose sound better and the fact that they can do their speakers very small with great sound, i know that h/k do that to
And ive heard a really good bose system but ive never heard anything that beats it.
My father atm have a bmw 530d and its not better.
But this bose system i heard cost alot of money, maybe some day ill hear matching sound from some other system and agree with you
theres a saying “No Highs, No Mids No Lows, It must be BOSE” Bose is good but its just overpriced entry level stuff.
your probably only saying that cause you havent heard h/k or b&o, b&w, or burmester. You honestly dont know what your talking about.
yeah sure, my family had an audi with the audi concert system and the sound was great, but i have also heard bose and its incredible. And just because they don’t use bose it doesn’t mean its bad perhaps they go better deals from h&k and b&w and the majority of people aint that picky when it comes to sound.
But think about it, many car manufacturers had bose before such as mercedes, and audi. But what now they now bose isnt good enough for their cars, so they went there separate ways mercedes left bose & went to h/k and audi did the same and went to b&o

Well, perhaps an aftermarket bose system then.

Agreed Volvo and Lexus have the best sound systems for luxury cars. Volvo (Dynaudio) and Lexus (Mark Levinson).

BMW doesn’t have harman/kardon any more.
Mercedes does.
and harman/kardon beats bose anytime.
But B&O beats everything.
