I’ve had the B6 A4 3.0 & the 2005 S4. I just can’t see having any less power than the 3.0 which I believe stock back in 2003 was 230hp & although it wasn’t slow it definitely felt the weight. So I can just imagine what a 2.0 would feel like but since I’ve never driven one I’m just going by what I had.
Have you actually driven one? I have a B6 A4 with a 1.8t with a GIAC chip and it does quite well…. and gets almost 30 mpg in the process. It smokes my old GTi… which is 800 pounds less and gets the same gas mileage. Mine is chipped to 205 HP… this is 265 HP stock.

Its the generation of the car
B8 (2008-present)
B7 (2005-2008)
B6 (2001-2005)
B5 (1994-2001)

I don’t understand the need for the 1.8 or even a 2.0 model. These cars are way too heavy to be powered by anything smaller than a 2.8.

It means the “version”. Next model will be Audi A4 B9.

B8 is the series or edition. the first one was B1 and the previous one was B7 so the new one is B8

I think this one is better. More storage in the car and not much bigger.
