There are numerous brands supporting and sponsoring motocross riders and bikers all across the world. Also, there are many brands which make clothing for these riders. The motocross apparel with the company logo imprinted on it is very famous and is supported by motocross bikers like Fox, Thor, Alpinestar etc.

Motocross clothing is quite different from other clothing because it provides safety and freedom to riders. FMX riding includes dangerous stunts and requires free movement, but also requires strong defensive gears as the possibilities of rider falling or crashing with other bikes are quite high.

An acute sport, Freestyle Motocross was initiated in 1999 in the X-games. A sport like this is dangerous and requires protective clothing every time the biker rides. Here is some of the essential motocross clothing that a rider must wear:

Tees:

T-shirts or tees is an essential item for any motocross rider or fan. Loose, comfortable t-shirts with funky graphics, prints or sayings create an impressive statement and are ideal when watching your favourite FMX biker performing on the circuit. Nearly every brand has its own t-shirt line for youngsters, men and women. So, go and grab a jazzy t-shirt for yourself.

Jackets:

Sports jackets add a cool quotient to any informal clothing. These days, nearly every motocross gear manufacturer makes these trendy sports jackets. There are casual fleece jackets that offer warmth and comfort unlike any other jackets made of other materials. These jackets are available in bright and playful colours that create a bold statement.

Shoes:

Shoes for motocross bikers are available in varied materials like canvas, vinyl or leather. They are available in different styles such as ankle length, knee length, slip on, lace up etc. Teaming your shoes with casual shorts, jeans or dresses can make you look stylish as a rider. One can also find a large range of funky canvas shoes that can be customized in any mode you want. Hand painted shoes with dissimilar designs also make a cool statement.

Face Shields:

Face shields are extremely important in protecting your face from stones while riding the bike at high speeds. Coloured shields are a perfect choice during the day, while clear glass shields are required during night time. You can even get them attached to the helmet to flip them on and off. They help in safeguarding your eyes and face. You must always go for shields that are scratch-resistant and impact-resistant. There is a high possibility that scratch surfaces haze your vision.

So, whenever you go to buy riding apparel, these above mentioned points will certainly be helpful in making an ideal choice.

Some of the best ways to accessorize your motorcycle helmet are with helmet stickers, custom paint designs, and helmet Mohawks, and all of the above can be attained with little commitment from as far as budget goes. If you’re looking to accessorize your helmet, you may want to look into one of the choices mentioned above instead of having to always looking at the plain and boring helmet that you currently have.

Helmet stickers are a great way to give your lid a little character without having to alter the makeup of itself. Helmet stickers can include a number of different things including slogans, phrases, cartoon characters, custom drawings and designs, and more, and can be purchased at pretty reasonable prices if you can find the right place to buy them. If you want to add a little more color or character to your helmet, helmet stickers is definitely one good option.

Another option for dressing up your gear is a custom paint job. Airbrushing is becoming more and more popular these days and is a great way to give your motorcycle helmet a cool new look, and is the perfect way to incorporate some fresh new color and stunning artwork into the theme of your helmet. This doesn’t come without a price though as airbrushing can be a little expensive if you consider how much you actually paid for the helmet alone. It’s definitely worth the price though when you finally see the end result and how good the airbrushing process has made your helmet look.

Finally, another great way to dress up your helmet is the helmet Mohawks, which are another popular item in the motorcycle gear market today. These great items come in a number of different colors and are available just about anywhere you see motorcycle helmets being sold. Helmet Mohawks are made to stick to your helmet in high wind conditions so you don’t have to worry about them falling off in the middle of your ride.
